Pillivuyt
Pillivuyt is one of the only porcelain manufacturers that produces its own paste on their premises, which ensures that their products are 100% Made in France. Their porcelain is fired at 1400°C/2552°F, which gives the products a non-porous exterior surface, preventing the penetration of bacteria, tastes and odours, ensuring it maintains maximum protection in food hygiene.

Pillivuyt was started by Jean-Louis Richard Pillivuyt in 1818. He joined forces with landowner Mr Klein and they purchased a factory in Foëcy, which they turned into a porcelain manfactory. Pillivuyt remained a family business until World War 2.
Upon the death of Jean-Louis Richard in 1854, his son Charles built a new factory nearby in the town of Mehun sur Yevre. The business grew and won awards at shows across the globe. Their reputation increased and they soon became the choice of many royal houses.
In 2005 Pillivuyt introduced Pillenium, a more versatile porcelain that won the Innovation Award. At the same time they began developing flame-proof and induction cookware, including new glazes, colours and shapes.
In 2018 Pillivuyt celebrated 200 years, one of only a few around the world to achieve this.
