Lobmeyr
Lobmeyr was founded by Joseph Lobmeyr in Vienna in 1823. Lobmeyr glasses are blown, cut, engraved and polished by hand, each product the result of at least 18 professional hands; the lighting products are manufactured at their workshops in Vienna.

From it?s inception, Lobmeyr was closely related to the Wiener Werkstatte, a group of artists and producers that turned Vienna into the heart of craftsmanship. Lobmeyr was not content to be just a glass dealer, instead they leant into new techniques and designs. Stefan Rath, grandson of Joseph Lobmeyr, worked with architects and members of the Wiener Werkstatte and created an exclusive range of drinking sets and crystal chandeliers. Lobmeyr?s products were sold in the Wiener Werkstatte shops, in particular the bronzite series in black and white by Josef Hoffmann. The Paris Exposition des Arts Decoratifs et Industriels Modern of 1925 led to well filled order books and purchases by the most prestigious museums of applied art of Vienna, New York, Stockholm, Prague and Paris.
