Moser

Moser is well-known for its use of colours, the unique colour palette is based on the hues of certain gemstones, such as alexandrite, beryl, topaz, rosaline, aquamarine, and eldor. To achieve these distinct shades, the crystal is melted with a mix of rare earths and metal oxides. The colours are subtle and elegant, setting Moser Glassworks apart from their competition. In addition to full-colour items, Moser also offers a flash variant with a colour layer on the surface and an underlaid colour layer inside the crystal. These types of glass feature the hues like amethyst, reseda, pink, blue, aurora, and green.

Blowing glass and moulding is a creative team effort by skilled glassworkers using their breath and tools. The glassworkers gather molten glass on a blowpipe and use their breath and tools to shape it into the desired form, then, they blow into the glass to mould it properly. The final steps are handled by the glass master, who uses various tools and instruments to perfect the shape and size of the glass. Once satisfied, the glass is placed in an annealing furnace to cool down for a few hours to several days, depending on its thickness. After cooling, it undergoes a thorough quality check. Any imperfections mean it goes back into the furnace.

The products are tidied up very precisely so that their shape and the high quality of the lead-free Czech crystal can really shine. Only if the second quality check decides that they are absolutely perfect can they be further shaped and decorated. Items that are smooth and without decoration can be sent to customers at this stage.

Upon completion, all Moser products undergo a final quality control, only the ones that meet the strictest quality requirements are marked with our logo. Additionally, they provide a certificate confirming the product's origin in our glassworks, and a card with a numeric code for the quality controller who guaranteed the product's quality.

Moser’s exclusive products deserve premium packaging, thus they put effort into the appearance of their packaging being mindful of the environment which is why most of their materials used are fully recycled.
