Vetrerie di Empoli was founded in 1936 by the Parentini family, who still own the company and are now in the third generation. Since the early 1900s they have been creating innovative handcrafted products. Today they have an international distribution thanks to their highly artisanal products, inspired by Tuscan and Italian cultural and craft traditions.
In the early 1900’s Vetrerie di Empoli began producing glassware for the dinner table, alongside carafes and demijohns – they soon became a success.
In 1935 they opened stores in Rome, Turin and Milan and their green glass began arriving in many Italian homes. As time passed, their plain styles became more elegant.
Today Vetrerie di Empoli’s products sell internationally thanks to the experience gained in over a century. Glasses can be personalised with your logo or initials, which are etched into the glass by hand, which results in a durable finish with glasses being dishwasher safe.
