Scanpan is one of the leading makers of non-stick cookware. Since it began in 1956, their hand cast aluminium products have been produced in their factory in Aarhus, Denmark.

All Scanpan?s aluminium products are made from environmentally friendly recycled aluminium items, such as drinks cans, which saves on resources in comparison to extracting new aluminium. Liquid aluminium is hand-poured into a mould and die-cast under 250 tonnes of pressure ? this technique ensures durability and heat distribution across the entire surface. A large part of their research and development goes into their non-stick coating, and they have one of the most resilient non-stick coatings on the market. As well as their non-stick products they also create items in stainless steel and copper.
