Rudi Rabitti launched Rabitti, the Italian saddle leather specialist, in Milan in 1969.

Saddle leather is thick and sturdy, needing no reinforcing so it is possible to create objects made entirely of leather. The dyeing process is based on using natural tannins, with no chrome, giving it that natural look and soft texture.

In 2015, GioBagnara acquired the brand and in 2017 Stephane Parmentier became the artistic director.
