Massimo Lunardon

Massimo Lunardon was born in 1964 in Marostica, Vicenza, Italy, and he attended the Domus Academy to learn industrial design, focusing on glass blowing, receiving his degree in 1991. His work reflects traditional craftsmanship with a modern twist. His work has been featured across the world in galleries, shops and museums, including Sotheby’s, Gudhjem, and Maison et Objet.
His career began in 1988 when he opened his workshop at the age of 24, following years of apprenticeships in glass furnaces. Today over 15 people work at his studio.
Since 1998 he has been a professor of flameworking at the Vetroricerca School in Bolzano, Italy. He also gives regular workshops on glassmaking.
