In 1825, Francois Baignol set up ?La Fabrique? in the Brigueuil Forest, becoming one of the first porcelain manufactories in the area. In 1855 he carried out the first gas cooking trial in Limoges, which was a revolution in the profession.
In 1962 Henri Seignolles secured the business and made investments to improve it. In 1976, in order to accommodate the new tunnel kiln, J Seignolles moved to Limoges, where it remains today. Thanks to their high firing ability, they became the first manufacturer in Limoges to create long lasting decorations, guaranteed to be dishwasher safe.
