Iittala
Iittala Glasbruks Aktiebolag was founded by Peter Magnus Abrahamson n Finland as a glassworks in 1881, specialising in tableware and cookware.

Iittala has a strong history in glassware, which has expanded to ceramics and metal, focusing on timeless design.
Founded in April 1881 in the village of Iittalain in Finland by Peter Magnus Abrahamson after he left the Nuutajarvi glassworks. Due to a lack of skilled glassblowers in Finland, the first in the factory came from Sweden.
Due to a design archive system, none of their designs are closely related.
Iittala embraces Nordic living, it is about functional aesthetics along with a respect for the Nordic values. They are committed to a sustainable future, starting with the designs, aiming for designs that will stand the test of time, not just beauty. They promote change against a throwaway culture, carbon neutrality and increased joy.
